Meet The Team

Claire Cotterill (Head Instructor):

Hi, my name is Claire Cotterill. I started in 2004 to express my passion for fitness, dance and of course pole dance. In 2011 we moved into this purpose built venue to expand our ability to share our passion. I am a professional and resourceful person and have over 18 years teaching experience, and 32 years’ experience in dance. I am qualified to a level 4 teaching status and I am a NVQ level 2 assessor, I have taught a broad spectrum of clients in many disciplines including people with mental and physical disability. I have wrote two teacher training courses with skills active, one in pole fitness and the other in aerial silks, these will also be approved by REPS.

COMPETITIONS ACHIEVEMENTS:

Kezia Allegra (Senior Instructor):

Kezia started pole dancing following an accident which left her unable to walk properly: using the pole in conjunction with physio treatment helped her make a full recovery, regaining strength and confidence in her body.

Although Kezia was working as a CIPD qualified human resources manager, she decided to retrain to share her passion for pole dance with others. She completed her Exercise to Music qualification, Active IQ and Xpert Awards in pole fitness instruction, leaving her corporate job to start teaching.

When not on the pole, Kezia can usually be found exploring the countryside with Oscar (her King Charles Cavalier Spaniel) or tucked away in a Cotswolds coffee shop with a hot chocolate.

I have been dancing for around 34 years. My training is in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Theatre Craft, Modern Jazz, Freestyle and Street. Although I love dance in general Ballet is my true passion the combination of strength and grace fascinates me, the more I learn the more it inspires me. I started my teacher training in 1999 and as I have continued to gain qualifications I have grown in confidence and gained so much experience. Through my teaching I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to choreograph and dance in productions at the Prince of Wales Theatre, Cannock and the Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton.
